"A Tribute to Sizzla"

By Empress Lioness

When you look at me, don’t be surprised, that as you stare in my face, you see His Majesty’s eyes.

I am his daughter he is my guide, from King Sellasie I shall never hide and speak of nothing but truth as I travel worldwide.

And to you my brother Sellasie I son, don’t stop chant til the battle is won.

Burning out poverty, injustice, inequality and so on burning out babylon until it’s all gone.

Miguel at birth, "sizzling" hot, with words from on high that mean a whole lot.

Uplifting His Majesty in actions and deeds, giving Rastafari people the message they need.

Remain loving, humble, honest and true, and my brother in song, Jah will bless you.

Healing sick minds from all their frustrations, what yuh seh mi an yuh link fi ah combination?

"March onward my son", the words spoken by God, mind yuh steps mi breddah on this road that you trod.

I’ll say a prayer for your life, if you say one for mine, with life, love, and music we all will be fine.

Despite our oppressors left us in a bind, assuming black people are ignorant and blind, give we back our legacy which has been stolen throughout time, as I livelicate to Sizzla dis one likkle rhyme.
