Dozens Stranded at Piarco Airport In Trinidad

A number of BWIA passengers have been stranded at the Piarco International Airport in Trinidad since  Thursday, August 14th when the power went out in New York and Toronto, and they have been told that the airline has no responsibility for them.  Read more


 

Dictator Idi Amin Dies

Former Ugandan dictator Idi Amin has died of multiple organ failure in hospital in Saudi Arabia.  Amin, who was variously described as 78 or 80 years old, had been in a coma at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in the Red Sea port city of Jeddah since 18 July.   Read More

Bodies Of Two Teens Found In Shallow Grave

The partially decomposed bodies of two teenagers were unearthed from a shallow grave in the inner city community of Canterbury, St James on Friday, August 15th.
