Some may wonder why I say this. At birth we are labeled as male or female. Not one person ever asks, "did you have a man or a woman?" Get the point? After one matures you become either a man or woman.

And, as we look around us there is such a break down in relationships, whether it is a marriage or two people dating. The respect factor is gone, females accept whatever come their way in terms of treatment from males; and males certainly give all the foolishness they can. You see, in society the worse you treat your female the better. And females, the behavior is so bad today that a man cannot show much respect because she doesn’t have much for herself. So she must always ends up with a male.

Let me give you an example of a very famous person Beenie Male. I have always loved his performances and music. But have you noticed lately the same person who always bragged about the amount of females he needed and has had, is concerned about his wife? And did you notice the concern was about another male? Are you shocked? Of course not! Do you think she was the most respected female around town to make a home with? Something to think about. Listen, I don’t know everything, but most of the time when you take something that belonged to someone else it normally comes with a price tag. In this case it was a high price; self respect ( he goes down to almost depression,) career ( fans say what the ****), loss of label (now on his own label as opposed to major labels).

It also makes me wonder does the amount of loving you have no matter how good really matter? Because if we look at the Beenie Male situation you can see this is not the issue. He said that he’s ‘the girl dem suga’ but it could not have been that good if she gave it up to someone else right? So it must not be the key. I still feel a solid foundation is the key, communication is essential.

So we all need to consider, at what stage do we become Men and Women? I feel it is when we work very hard and succeed in being loyal and faithful to one another especially to ourselves. Taking all of our responsibilities seriously. Not playing with others emotions, which means being honest about what you want from the other. Beenie does not seem to have done that, if he did he would not be in this spot perhaps. You see things may have worked out but his choices were not good.

Lessons to learn from this:

1) Do not touch what is not yours.

2) Communication is the key and can open may doors that lead to longevity in relations

3) Stealing comes with a high price to pay. And what goes around as a result of our actions is a *****.

4) Follow the golden rule and treat others as we want to be treated.

5) Last but not least SEX, is not the foundation, you can get it anywhere, however respect, communication and love are things to be worked on and grow stronger in time.

I am not good with plants so I will use them as an example. Flowers are so beautiful in someone else garden and when we decide to put the same in our garden it’s not so easy. We know nothing about the type of flowers they are growing so we research them to see the type of nutrition they need to survive. And the planting begins!!!

So, now lets take it to the next level, when we met someone do we take the time to see what or how much nutrition ( time, attention, affection) the person we are with needs? The amount of water to make the person grow to much can cause the roots to rotten. So we need to pay attention to each others needs and wants and the results will be wonderful. Imagine a relationship beautiful and growing in a symbolic ROSE as such. The odor is always nice and our relationship can be too.

Now, if you love yourself and the one in your life, think about Beenie and others and see if they had made some application of these things above if life could be better!
