Should We As Women Air Our Business On Face Book? 

Dear Mistress,

We share some of the same friends on FB and I was quite surprised to see the behavior of some of the females. We may be single and have various things going on in our life but is FB the place to air our problems? Is it the place to embarrass our so called men? Some of the things that are up there make me wonder if they are mature women or have they missed out on their teen years and are trying to bring them back or something. One lady was talking about her man and how she had made him, I wonder if she is back with him after all that talk. Some of these women want to know why men do not notice the kind of woman they are. What do you think?  If I am not mistaken these women have children,  some who are teens and they party hard every week end so what kind of example are they setting for their kids? Don’t think I am saying not to go out but come on. Looks like FB is their life. I say they get a life. 

Mistress do you think women should put their business on FB or use some other means?

Dear Frustrated Face Book Reader,

Thank you for your question. As far as FB I think it’s a great tool for people to keep in touch, however not to air your personal business. There is nothing wrong with asking questions but as adults we need to be cautious as to what we post.

Can you as a women imagine a man you are involved with begin to tell the world so to speak how and what he did to you, how much money he gave you and how he took you from nothing and made you something. Now keep in mind unless he is using a fake name all will know what has been going on in your life. He has no problem doing so. And if you stay with this Man what then? Does it make you look a certain way? Well, that would be for you to decide.

As far as the party moms no one can live their lives I would encourage them to always put their children first. If they have sons set a good example by choosing real men you never know the impact so called men have on your young men. If you are stressed over these people your sons may get mixed signals about how to treat a woman. And we as moms are supposed to raise black men of the future, right? Let’s not leave this to someone else.

Bottom line, stays focused on your own life if you cannot sort things out certainly do not let FB do it for you. Frustrated, take some time to think things over remove yourself from the situation. You know sometimes we have to look at ourselves through someone else’s mirror. Ladies, remember our worth never let anyone determine your actions or life. Take control and walk with your heads high. Never walk backwards you will stumble and fall may times. Go forward and the walk is much smoother you can see and walk the way you choose.

Now is your time take control the sky is the limit!
